Why Archives Matter

Every career produces an archive — whether it’s preserved intentionally or left scattered across studios, storage units, hard drives, and boxes. Photographs, notebooks, contracts, correspondence, and creative materials accumulate over decades of work. Without structure, these materials become difficult to preserve, interpret, or access — limiting their long-term value.

Muninn helps transform collections into organized archives that support preservation, research, storytelling, and future creative work.

Why Muninn?

Muninn, meaning Memory in Norse mythology, was one of Odin’s two ravens. As a symbol of remembrance and knowledge, the name reflects the purpose of archives: preserving the stories, records, and experiences that connect the past to the future.

Through thoughtful stewardship and professional archival practice, Muninn helps transform collections into enduring archives that preserve legacy and support future discovery.
